- Regis will be providing new PCs (except for Cost Cutters locations, which receive a 12-month ad fund reduction).
- Elo devices: Your Elo tablet cannot be used as the point-of-sale.
- The maximum Android operating system that can run on the Elo tablets is too old for Zenoti to successfully support.
- The Elo tablet may be usable as a guest-check-in device. See 📱Guest-facing tablets below.
- Clover devices: These will not function in the Zenoti environment.
- You will receive one free payment terminal for each location to cover credit card processing.
- For printing, self check-in and “pole display” functionality, please see below.

Preparing new hardware in advance for OSP locations
Migrating to Zenoti is unique in that you can nearly 100% configure your point-of-sale well before your day of go-live. This includes providing your stylists with the ability to practice with the new PC right at the front desk.
Specifically:
- Install your new PC and credit card terminal at your front desk as soon as you like. Leave your Elo running right next to it.
- Configure your PC up so that Zenoti is its home page, and any other software configurations you like are made (e.g. browser preferences).
- See Accessing Zenoti Live Sites for brand links.
- As Zenoti is cloud-based, and much of your data loaded in advance, stylists can practice well before migration. This includes finding and checking in guests, moving them to servicing, and processing test transactions.
- Void test transactions to avoid paying Regis royalties.
- On your day of migration, your team can simply: stop using the Elo, and start using the PC.
- Plug-in your receipt printer and you should be good to go.
