Offline mode requirements

Offline capabilities require a tablet running the Zenoti Mobile App (Overview: Mobile Apps). This app-based approach allows for sufficient local storage so that Zenoti can operate without connectivity. The browser version of Zenoti does not cache enough data locally to run offline.

This does not mean you must operate your business on a tablet all the time. But it means you need to have a tablet available to perform as a backup point-of-sale; and that the tablet is regularly connected so as to sync before you need it.

Offline mode is currently designed to work during outages that occur midday — it does not correctly function across multiple days or if your salon goes offline before starting for the day.
