💡 Tip card support will need to be provided either via Zenoti’s native MyZen offering, or via the the Regis integrations with either **Instant Tips** (in the US) or XTM (in Canada). Regis recommends that our franchisees use Instant Tips or XTM as they both provide a simpler onboarding process for owners and stylists.

🎯 Capability Callouts
- Historical payroll report calculations are retained as a point in time record to show how an employee was paid during that pay period. This may be beneficial to support any employment related claims.
- Changes to hourly rates and payroll commission plans all have effective dates so that payroll calculations can be preserved.
- Low level payroll reporting provides insight into how employee pay is being calculated - all the way down to each service that contributes toward commission
- The center-level payroll report provides a breakdown of each service that contributes to an employee’s pay, along with the commission attributed to each service.
- The center-level payroll report provides a breakdown of how each payroll plan contributes to an employee’s pay.
- ⚙️Mandatory breaks can be enabled to prevent a stylist from clocking in prior to their complete break being taken OR automatically deducted from payroll
- With custom columns, define what labor cost is based on how your organization measures it (ie. Includes/excludes OT, includes production hours/all worked hours/all hours including vacation holiday, etc)
✂️ Stylist Preparation
Important aspects to make clear to your salon staff.
- If ⚙️break-time is enabled, be sure to select the type of break when checking-out to avoid the system thinking you are checking-out for the day.
👩🏽💻 Salon Leader & Back-office Preparation
Important aspects for your leadership team and back-office personnel.
- Data Preparation steps are necessary to complete. Use the Onboarding Timeline as your guided checklist and leverage the 🚀Onboarding Wizard in Zenoti to facilitate navigation.
- Commissions are calculated on the same cadence as the payroll period. A shorter pay period may need to be defined in Zenoti.
