For historical transactions, products and services are imported but are voided so that they cannot be used. These voided products and services will have different data attributes including codes and names than for go-forward products.

A new data migration approach for products and services has been defined for salons migrating to Zenoti after Apr 12, 2023. Approximately one week prior to a franchisee's initial launch date on Zenoti (for a single brand), all services and products for salons within that brand will migrated and available in Zenoti. If a franchisee has multiple brands, for example, Supercuts and SmartStyle, then Supercuts products and services will be available at least one week prior to their initial Supercuts salon launching on Zenoti, and the SmartStyle products and services will be available at least one week prior to their initial SmartStyle salon launching on Zenoti. The high level data migration approach is described below and considers products and services at salons from each brand independently.
<aside> 💡 For owners with salons on SuperSalon and OSP, the migration of services and products for each brand will occur once for SuperSalon and then again for OSP. This may result in duplicate services and zone products being created in your zone, which you can choose to consolidate at your convenience.

A single salon for each brand owned by a franchisee (known as the "Master Salon") was selected to be representative of products and services for all of the franchisee's salons within that brand. Approximately one week prior to a franchisee's initial launch date on Zenoti (for a single brand), all services and products for salons within that brand were migrated and available in Zenoti. The high level data migration approach is described below and considers products and services at salons from each brand independently.
<aside> 💡 Some franchisee organizations worked with ProPoint to create a "Product Master" in SuperSalon. This was a salon where products (and possibly services and discounts) were maintained (without sales) and could be synced to other salons within the franchisee organization. Please note that the Master Salon concept described in the presentation is not the same as the SuperSalon "Product Master". Using the SuperSalon "Product Master" as the Master Salon for migration purposes was explored, but was not a viable option to pursue.
